We had a fun-filled week! The students had a blast at the Valentine's Day party. They also enjoyed exploring with shortening to see why whales need blubber. Check out the pictures that I posted!
We did a fruity activity for the 100th day of school. I posted pictures of the students working on their graphs and some of their fruit loop art. I also posted pictures of the students doing research on their sea creatures.

After reading Patricia Polacco's "Thunder Cake," we made the cake ourselves. It was an enjoyable experience where we discussed how we can utilize our Math skills in baking. The students also loved adding the secret ingredient...pureed tomatoes! ...
